SUMMARY:Refining Your Somatic Sex Education Practice- Salt Spring Island\, Canada
DESCRIPTION:At this week-long Embodiment Intensive students who have completed Core Courses 1-3  will step deeper into the role of facilitator and practitioner while continuing to hold space for your own erotic unfolding. In this course we will continue to layer your personal 16 learnings from Core Course Three with more hands-on practice with real time feedback in the following modalities: scar tissue and genital dearmouring\, sensual massage\, internal and external anal mapping and massage\, erotic massage dancing and Ecstatic Erotic Massage. You will deepen your understanding and skills in working with trauma\, develop session arcs and plans for clients presenting with common sexual concerns\, and have opportunities to practice facilitating somatic sexeducation in groups.

SUMMARY:Joy of Intimacy: Communication & Relationship Skills- Portland\, OR
DESCRIPTION:What is intimacy? How does it affect our lives? Is it inviting or terrifying? In this full day class\, we will have open discussions and embodied exercises to clarify what it means to have intimacy with ourselves and others. We will distinguish the differences between sexual expression and intimacy. We will explore the history that we hold in our minds and bodies about who we are and the obstacles of identity that block intimacy in our lives. By facilitating experiences that involve non sexual interaction\, we will still get to a deeper understanding of what challenges us and what excites us about feeling connected to ourselves and others. \nWe will practice presencing skills\, and respecting people within their boundaries. This class will be an experience into being seen for the fullness of who we are and how intimacy is essential in moving forward through the complexities of sexual relationship. \nThis program meets the requirements for the American Association of Sexuality Educators\, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) and is approved for 6 CE credits. We will look at the components of sex education\, reasons for sex education\, how sex education can or should look different for various audiences\, and how a holistic view can be used to create a sex education program\, exercise\, class or activity. Whether you work with children or adults\, the disabled\, within the LGBT world\, or with a specific ethnic population\, you will find useful material for your work\, and ideas you will be thinking about for a long time. \nThis program meets the requirements of the American Association of Sexuality Educators\, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) and is approved for 18 CE credits.
